About
Hambantota beach is a scenic area. Ample parking available as well. However it is highly recommended not to get in to the sea for bathing. The tides are very strong. However no merchants can be seen around this area as you would see in beaches in Colombo and Galle. However on Sundays, local vendors get together and sell their produce in the beach.
